why it can not generate sine wave in test panels

I bought a PCI-6031E card and LabVIEW 7.0

EXPRESS for designing a set of virtual instrument. The hardware and software are installed

properly according to the manual, then we use test panels in the measurement & automation

explorer to test the functions of the card. All functions work well except the analog out

function. The card can output DC voltage, but it doesn�t work when we set the output mode

to sinewave generation and the error message it provides is error- 50400 (occurred at

daqmxcfg_DAQmx Start Task.vi). We try another test panels under traditional NI-DAQ devices,

it does not generate sine wave but send an error message of error 10805.Who can tell me whether there is something wrong w
ith the card or else.thank you in advance

Based on the 10805 error code, I would suggest using a slower update rate for the analog output. This card can update the outputs at 100 kHz, which in the test panel may mean a maximum sine frequency of 100 Hz. The test panel uses 1000 samples per sine wave cycle, which you can adjust in you own application of course.

Thank you for your suggestion.We have tried to run our program under different sampling rate.But all failed with the same error message error 10805.We suspect that there is a physical failure with the card.The card can not pass the default test in test panels,how can it run other program?

To further troubleshoot the card, it will be beneficial if you can test the card in a different computer and see if you get similar results.
