I bought the student verision of multisim and i am building a circuit that requires a 14538 IC and cant not find it in the program i was wondering if i was missing it or there is a way to get one
The component you mentioned is not part of the Multisim database, if you select Place>>Component and go to the "Mixed" group there are other multivibrator, maybe you can used these instead.
