Adding a 555 square wave circuit to my circuit without even connecting it to the rest of my circuit breaks the rest of the circuit.

Hi I have a pretty bizarre problem that I have been stuck on for a while. I have a square wave generator circuit and I wish to hook it up to the rest of my circuit the mere presence of the 555 square wave circuit breaks the rest of my circuit. Looking at the image below the circuit works fine when the voltage source to the 555 is disconnected, however the moment I connect the voltage source to the 555 timer, without even connecting it to the rest of the circuit there is no output to the rest of the circuit. Furthermore when I do try connecting the output of the 555 timer to the capacitor the 555 timers output port changes to what looks like it has been blown/damaged. This is a really annoying problem and I really hope someone can help!Correct Waveform with Q disconnectedBroken wave form, no staircase oscillations do not start
