New user here, trying to figure out how to work with Multisim 2001. I've created several schematics successfully in the past, but they have all been one pagers. Can someone answer the following questions?
1. How can I create a "multi-page" schematic in Multisim 2001? I don't see the Place>>Multipage option in my version. I have several schematics I'd like to join together to get sequential reference designators. I tried creating a project and added the seperate schematics, but that doesn't give me sequential designators (ie. each schematic has an R1, don't want duplicates)
2. Is it possible to use a specific set of designators, for example R100 and up?
3. Simple question here. How can I draw a line, that has no electrical properties. Say I want just want to draw a line seperating various circuits. Is there a simple graphics tool, if so where?
Thanks,
Tina

Hi Tina,
1. Multisim 2001 doesn't have the multi-page schematic option, this version only have the sub-circuit and hierarchical schematic option. If you are not familiar with hierarchical and sub-circuit schematic, please refer to this article:

This article explains the differences between sub-circuit and hierarchical schematic:

2. If you want custom reference ID for the components, you have to manually change it by double clicking on the component and the change the reference ID under the "Label" tab. If you place a resistor and rename the reference ID to R100, the next resistor you place will be R1.
3. Multisim 2001 doesn't have drawing tools such as place rectangle, circle, lines etc... The only thing I can think of is to place two junctions and connect them with a regular wire.
