Our university is currently using Multisim 8, I have recently installed the evalution version of Multisim 12 and was wondering if it is possible to open the .ms8 files using this later version as I desperately need them to complete a report. Whilst Windows recognises to open the files using multisim all I get at the moment is a message stating that the file either doesn't exist or is of the wrong format. It would also be of great benifit to know whether or not I can open .gra files taken from a Bode plotter in MS8 and open these within 12.
Don't save your files in v12 unless you plan to buy it! Once you save it as a v12, you're locked in- you can't go back. You can't save in a previous version such as you can with Autocad. That applies to all versions, not just student. Just sayin...
