Can Mentor Graphics PADS component libraries be imported into Ultiboard?

I have just started using Multisim and Ultiboard.  We have a library of components in Mentor Graphics PADS software that we would like to import into Multisim/Ultiboard.  Is this possible, if so how is it accomplished.

Hi Marvinspu,

Ultiobard cannot read a PADS file, you have to recreate the footprints in Ultiboard.  If you are not sure how, have a look at this tutorial:

We are thinking about changing from Mentor Graphics PAD 9.3 to Utiliboard.   Do you have any suggestions to make the transisiton easier?

Hi David,

Unfortunately, there is not much you can do since Ultiobard doesn't open Pads files.
