Can a part (test point hole) have the features of a via?

I am using a group of "plated hole parts" as .100" centered pin connectors on the edge of a PCB.

I have created a 1 pin connector symbol in Multisim for this purpose.

I need my 1 pin symbol to behave like a Via does once in Ultiboard (i.e. have the ability to select layer connections).

I thought about making a custom sized Via for the application, but I don't see a way to link an Ultiboard via to my multisim part symbol. Is there a way this can be achieved, or another work around?

Hi Tod,

Annular rings have to be the same on all layers, the work around is to remove that pad a manually place a via.  I will create a feature request for this.
