Change spreadsheet defaults in Multi/Ulti-SIM?

Is there a way to (and how do you) change spreadsheet defaults? For example, from Excel to OpenOffice? specifically looking for an alternate for BOM generation to link the button.

Hi WillWG,

The export to excel is a feature available in Multisim. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change this because it is expecting to find excel on your computer and export the data to excel. You can always save it to a text file and then open that with OpenOffice. It should recognize the formating of the text and display it properly.

Thanks for the response. I have already been saving as text and importing. I was hoping there was some method to set up a different spreadsheet option than excel for a direct export, however. I do like the convenience of the 1 press object, and I'm somewhat disappointed that Multisim is tied into the Microsoft product line specifically. It would be nice to be able to configure other spreadsheet options for a direct button export.
