Circuit breaker component or model

I want circuit breaker component for designing a circuit in multisim. Let me know it is available or we have model it.

Hi Ramrita,

Have a look at the attached circuit as an example. I and using current, voltage controlled sources and voltage control switch to create the model. When current is less than 5A, the switch S1 be in position 1 so current will run to the R1 load. Now, when current is greater than 5A, the switch will be at position 2 and no current will appear on R1.

Thank you for your reply.

I presume that this circuit can be used as control circit and operate the relays in the lines connected to motors and trip the motors when there is a fault.

Can you provide any sample circuit diagram indicating connections of 3-Phase AC sources and 3-Phase Induction motors.

Hi Ram,

Instead of using the circuit I created the other day, there are some protection parts in the database that I forgot about.  Select Place>>Component, go to the Electro-Mechanical group, select the Protection Devices family.

There are some examples circuit installed with Multisim.  Select Help>>Find Examples, look in the "Machines" or "Power Conversion" section.
