Creating a circular board with 200mm diameter! Board Outline gerber is not circular! / Problem beim Erstellen eines runden Boards mit 200mm Durchmesser, Gerber Outline ist nicht rund!

Hy!

I have a problems creating a round board in Ultiboard Version 10.0.343. (diameter 200mm)

Usually i draw the board outlines with Autocad and import it per .dxf file.

When i export the board outline to gerber files i recognized that the output is not really circular.

I tried to draw the outline manually and also per board wizard, but no chance.

Where is the problem? Did anyone know this issue and can give me an advice to solve the problem???

Ich zeichne normalerweise die Outlines immer mit Autocad und importiere diese per .dxf file.

nun ist mir beim gerber exportieren aufgefallen dass die outline nicht wirklich rund ist.

woran kann das liegen? habe schon versucht manuell und per wizard die outline zu zeichnen, ohne erfolg.

Kann mir jemand helfen, oder hatte jemand schon einmal ein gleiches porblem und weiß einen lösungsvorschlag?

This is a known issue and R&D is working on implementing a solution. Currently, circles in the outline or silkscreen for example, are represented by a polygon with many lines, for small circles this is not a problem, but for large circles you will notice them like you probably currently do. The ultimate goal is to have a perfect circle.
