Default context menu options in Multisim 11

Below is the right click context menu that I get when clicking in the blank area of a sheet in Multisim 11.  The Properties option is not listed so it appears that another option is selected somewhere in settings.  I have tried to do a repair on the installation as well as an uninstall/re-install procedure without luck.  How can I restore the default right click context menu?

Thanks,

Thomas Meiswinkel

Hello Thomas,

Go to the Options menu and make sure that the Simplified Version option is not enabled.

What's your Multisim application version and edition (go to Help>>About Multisim)?

Hello Fernando,

My problem has been solved with the help of technical support.  I deleted all of the files in the Configuration folder and restarted the Multisim application and now I am back to the default menu setup.

Thanks,

Thomas Meiswinkel

I'm having the same issues, but I tried deleting all the files in the Config folder (Options<Global Preference) but it still hasn't fixed anything. Here's my right-click on any component as well:

The default path for me to delete the configuration files was:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Circuit Design Suite 11.0\config

See if there are any files in there and if there are delete all of them and restart Multisim/Ultiboard.

Hi Laurim,

I think you have the same problem due to the simplified setting. What you can do is go to "Options" and unselect "Simplified version". Try if that works. If not, we can think of something else to do. Hope that helps.

Thanks. I'm not in simplified version, and I deleted all my config items.

I tried deleting all the files in the config folder that was found under Options<Global Preferences, then under the "User settings" header, which was:

C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\National Instruments\Circuit Design Suite\11.0\config\standard_ms_edu.ewcfg

I also deleted all the config files under C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Circuit Design Suite 11.0\config

Any other suggestions?

That's very strange. How/when did you get this problem? Can you think of any operation that would potentially affect your configuration files? Maybe you can try to check your Global Restrictions and Circuit Restrictions to see if there's any restrictions that are enabled. The password is "Rodney".
