My assignment brief asks to simulate the attached circuit for a delay timer. The instructions say that when the switch is open the LED should remain on for a short interval and then turn off. Then when the switch is closed the LED should come on almost instantly. However when I simulated the circuit the LED only remained on. Can anyone explain what I did wrong and how I could fix it?
