Hi guys.
I am a HND student in the UK and have an assignment on Three-Phase transformers. The assignment concentrates on Star-Star, Star-Delta, Delta-Star and Delta-Delta set-ups with Transformers. The idea is to get us to appreciate the relationship between Line and Phase voltage, current and power. We have received very little support this semester, and received very little teaching before face-to-face teaching was curtailed in March. We have very little resource for this topic and sadly I am not receiving much help from my tutor.
I am okay with Star configurations, they are simple to configure. But I am struggling with Delta and getting Multi-sim to work. I have scoured the internet for how to connect the transformers up. I get expected voltages on the primary side (Phase and Line). I follow the diagrams for wiring the secondary and come up with the following error:
"Warning: Singular Matrix. Es1 (inside of T2) might not be properly connected".
The three phases are connected to 3 resistors in Delta load config. I am to measure Primary Phase Voltage, Primary Line Voltage, Primary Line Current, Primary Phase current, Secondary line voltage, Secondary line current and total power dissipation.
Please be gentle with me! 🙂
