Design Circuit for Gas Detector

I want to copy the circuit that in word file to design it in multisim but i cant find some of the components like :

the connector(DB-9) that link the modem with max 232. can i replace it by bus connector?

here in the attachment i have tried to complete the circuit but i left with some components i cant find them in mutlisim.

any help to finish design this circuit. i appreciate

Hi dwuihf,

I took a look at your circuit and there a few things that I can mention. Firstly, if you need something as complex as a GSM Modem, you will need to create a LabVIEW instrument for it if that is possible. If you know the exact input you are going to receive, you can use something like a PIECEWISE_LINEAR_VOLTAGE source which is in the Sources Group and the SIGNAL_VOLTAGE_SOURCES Family. In this source, you can define the set of values which you expect and Multisim can use these. 

As per your question about the use of buses, you can use buses to make it easier for you to connect different things in your design.

The LPG Sensor in your circuit would again be something you would need to use LabVIEW to create because it's operation is quite complex as well.
