Hi,
we want to export an Ultiboard PCB to Gerber for submitting to a manufacturer. Our problem is that the exported files are larger than the PCB itself because it includes some marks around the PCB itself. The picture below shows the PCB outline and the 3 circles that we want to remove from the Gerber file.
Is it possible to exclude this area and have only the PCB itself in the Gerber file because we have to pay for the area around as well (and don't want to 🙂 )
Has someone an answer?
Thanks in advance
Holger

There are more ways to change your gerber file contents - you can change the layer for objects on your ultiboard layout e.g. you can set the whole to silkscreen top or mechanical layer - so when you export each layer to a gerber file you see not longer the object before.
Second way is to change settings in global preferences like the post here before from ajt.
Third way is to open the exported gerber file by gerber editor and change the layer. Therefore you find some gerber free tools in internet
Look at the screenshot in my *.doc i attached here.
Best Regards
