How do I use components I created using v10 in v10.1?

I am trying to save time by not having to recreate more then 70 components and footprints that I made using v10.  I am unable to find/import/use these components in 10.1.  Is there anyway to merge the databases of 10 and 10.1?  Thank you for your help.

1.  In 10.1 select Tools>>Database>>Merge Database,

2.  Click on the Select A component Database Name button

3.  Go to the 10.0.1 database path, by default it's in:

C:\Documents and Settings\Your login name\Application Data\National Instruments\Circuit Design Suite\10.1

If you don't see Application Data, turn on hidden files in your Windows Explorer setting Tools>>Folder Options>>View

4.  Click Start on the Multisim Database Merger

Thank you very much.  That actually worked.  When you try to follow other instructions, they point you to the National Instruments folder under "My Documents".

Oh! I just copied my User database file from the 10.0.1 folder under Application data to the 10.1 folder - was that the wrong thing to do??

Thanks

Copying the 10.0.1 database to 10.1 path should not be a problem; it's not the recommended thing to do.  If you do this with the corporate database, you will have a problem.
