Hello,
Is there a way to create a magnetic field generator or have some sort of magnetic field in Multisim? Also, is there a coil setup that can be setup that can be used to sense the magnetic field and have a measureable voltage on the coil? It would be perferred for the coil to have a saturable core.
Thank You.

Hi Akhurash,
Multisim doesn't simulate magnetic but you can use voltage or current to emulate magnetic. In the database, there is a coreless coil and magnetic core and you can use these parts to emulate you magnetic components. These parts are located in "Basic" group under the "Basic virtual" family.
Have a look at the attached file for instructions how to use these parts.

Thank you very much for the reply. Can you provide the circuit you used for the simulation? I can't seem to get the same results as you did.

Hi Akhurash,
Here you go

How did you obtain the graph in the first Word file you posted? The one with the B-H field? Also, is there a way to make the graph of the B-H field flat? What I'm trying to do is create a B-H curve with a flattened (or constant) H-field after a certain amount of B-field has been applied.

Hi Akhurash,
Multisim doesn't plot B-H curve, I made that curve for demonstration purpose using current and voltage.

Do you have plans to put that feature in Multisim? Old version of Microsim had that feature.

Hi Piotrek,
I don't know if this is on the list of but I will add it to the feature request.

Thanks. I was playing around with an evaluation version of "12" .You have a nice transistor tester that you created in Labview. Maby something like that?

how this file is used?
