Hello, was wondering how to simulate a range of incoming RF signal into my circuit to determine if it is working properly (and a receiver antenna if possible, I'm using a generic voltage source of 5V in series with 50ohm resistor to simulate an Antenna but I do not know if that is working properly either.)
My goal is to receive incoming cell signals into my circuit and it should light the LED and Sound the Buzzer when it detects arounf the 900MHz-3GHz+ range.
I get no errors when I run the circuit, but as soon as I attach a function generator and set it to 2 GHz or just place it, I get convergence errors and it cannot fix it autmatically. So I am assume a function generator does not simulate an incoming signal.
I scoured the internet and cannot find an answer so if anyone knows a tool I can use to simulate this please let me know.
