Hello,

Are you using Multisim/Ultiboard? C:\Windows\LIVING~1.SCR seems to a screen saver that your computer is trying to load.

The run time error - C:\WINDOWS\LIVING~1SCR, has been bothering me for a few days now by popping up after a minute or so of idle time, especially on the desktop. My OP system is "XP home".

I suspected that the "SCR" was the ending for a screen saver which I had recently deleted. I opened the "C" drive to all it's programs, went to "WINDOWS" and opened that, then scrolled down to find anything with an ".SCR" ending, and found a recent screen saver with the word "LIVING" in it that was not deleted with it's program earlier. I deleted this file and solved the problem. I no longer have that annoying poppup.

Hoping this info helps others having the same problem,

I am,

Larry B.

Hello,

Does the error happen with a particular schematic? Could you attach it here? What's your operating system? In Multisim go to Help>>About Multisim, what's your version (10.1.xxx) and edition (Power Pro, Edu, etc)?

I am running the Full edition of Multisim -- Version 10.1.357 under XP Pro 5.1

The run-time error occurs when I drag a trace - and it happens randomly -- unfortunately I was just laying out the circuit to transfer to Ultiboard so hadn't completely saved the schematic -- attached is that which I had saved.
