I would like to design a dc-ac sinusoidal inventor. I need to design a transformer not off the toolbar. Need to have for example a auto transformer or 3-2 transformer with n1 and n2 desirable.

Hi Alistair,

Thanks for joining the forums!  Building circuits from the component level is indeed possible in Multisim, although we would need some more details about what you are trying to achieve:

- Is your question regarding circuit design or the implementation of a design within Multisim?

- What have you tried so far?

I found a paper concerning the theory, methodology and implementation of a DC/AC Pure Sine Wave Inverter, does that help you out?

Any way, I will do all my design and simulation with Mulisim and hopefully PCB design too.
