Import multiple footprints from Ultiboard to Multisim

I would like to ask, how can I import multiple custom footprints, created in Ultiboard 10, into Multisim 10?

"Back annotate from Ultiboard" doesn't import custom footprints into Multisim.

"Ignored -- Change package for "R14": from "R0204R7_5" to "custom_R"
Unable to find footprint custom_R in the database"

I can only add footprints one bye one into Multisim, with giving its Ultiboard name and pin count, which is very slow.

And is there anyway to backup my Multisim custom footprints?

Thank you,

Hi,

Firstly, I would suggest taking the v10 database and converting (merging) it with your v11 database. Follow the instructions in the link below to do this:

http://ae.natinst.com/public.nsf/web/searchinternal/7219964f364425fe862576c1000ba7e1?OpenDocument

Once you have all the components, you can open the v10 Multisim file in v11 and then you should have the updated footprints assigned to the parts.

Hope this helps.
