In ultiboard 13 when I autoroute it doesn't route on my groundplane. before that when I has two powerplanes it didn't route on the second plane. There must be a setting that I have wrong. I've tried favorites every which way and no help.

In ultiboard 13 it doesn't route to my gnd powerplane exept on the connector thru holes at startup before autoroute. There must be a setting that I am missing. I have tried various combinations in favorite layers. When it quits I can see the ground ratsnest so it knows what it isn't connecting.

Hi RJ,

You can try this:

1.  On the spreadsheet view, select the Nets tab.

2.  Select the nets belonging to the powerplanes, double-click the cell below the Routing Layer column then unchecked all your copper layers.  You should see all 0s below this column and what this means is no traces are allowed to be routed on any layers for the selected nets.

3.  Start the router

4.  Once the router finished, go back to the spreadsheet view and change the routing layers setting to all 1s

5.  Now place you powerplanes
