Installing on a new computer

I had installed Mutlism 11 on and "old" computer that didn't have enough memory to run the program. I've since bought a "new" computer to support the program but I am unable to use the activation code to install it on the new one. I thought I was able to install from the "old" to be able to uninstall on the "new." does anyone have an ideas?

Hello,

The Activation Code is based on your Serial Number and the Computer ID (a unique number based on your computer's hardware). Since you have a new computer the Computer ID is different, therefore you need a new Activation Code. If your new computer is connected to Internet you can get the Activation Code automatically, follow the next steps:

• Launch Multisim
• On the welcome screen select Activate, this will start the NI Activation Wizard.
• Select the first option (Automatically activate through a secure Internet connection).
• Follow the rest of the steps of the wizard.
