Is it possible to represent loads in terms of real and reactive powers in Multisim
Also is it possible to specify the real and reactive powers supplied by a source. This is for power system modeling using multisim

Hi,
For resistance:
We have an impedance meter in the LabVIEW instruments panel but it is very limited. What I've done in the past was create a node where you want to calculate the real/imaginary voltage of a load and place in there a current source. Then procede to use a single-frequency (or a normal one for a whole range of answers) analysis on this source to obtain the results. Using the post processor you can grab these results and find your load at both the imaginary and real stage.

For power:
Use the 2 wattmeter method.

Best of luck,
