I have created some 45nM MOSFET models to use in a Digital System Design class. The models are working as expected ( simulations match predictions, netlist looks correct, ...). The problem is I am not getting any option to choose the terminal currents when I setup a simulation using Simulate -> Analysis and Simulation -> Outputs. When I place a virtual MOSFET from the Master Database it offers me options to select the current in each of the 4 terminals. e.g. I(MQ1[ID]), and I(MQ1[IS]).
I have tried to use the same identifying structure as an expression in the output tab but Multisim just ignores it. (I(MQ99[ID]) where Q99 is one of my 45nM devices). This may be a BSIM implementation issue in MultiSim, the virtual device stops providing terminal currents as an option if I change the model to BSIM4.
Since the sims work properly, I am guessing this is an option setting somewhere in MultiSim, but I can't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated - classes start in a week.
