Some other options that may help before you try a re-install. Do a virus scan and make sure nothing has infected your computer. Try defragging the hardrive. These are just a few simple thing to try. Also, you might want to look around in your Version 9 Folder and see if there is an uninstall program. I am not sure this existed in Version 9, but version 10 has an uninstall program that will allow you to effect repairs on it.

Thanks Lacy: I used Settings / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Defragment drive C and now v9 is running fast again ! ! !
