I ran into the same problem, for some reason the multimeter was not working (I'm guessing because the current was too low to display, i'm not sure) but try to use the measurement probe on the side panel, click the arrow under it and select Instantaenous current and voltage to show both voltage and current and place it wherever you want to see the current or voltage and run it, it should display the proper current.
