Multisim Bug? Adding traces from latest simulation result

Hi!

Here is a simple schematic for instance.

1.jpg

1. Do AC analysys of transfer function V(Out)/V(In) vs frequency.

2.jpg

Result is on the picture below - everything is OK.

3.jpg

2. Then do the same simulation again, without any changes in schematic, settings, etc. The result is the same as previous, as expected.

3.jpg

3. Then, if we will back to the first plot, and chose "Add trace(s) from latest simulation result" option in Grapher,..

4.jpg

...we'll see something like this:

5.jpg

These two curves, red and green, have to be identical. But green curve is different from the original (normal) result.

Сonclusion: "Add traces..." option have some bugs, probably. This problem was found in versions 12 and 13 of Multisim. Version 11 is OK.

BTW: "Copy trace" option works fine.

Hi ZG,

Thank you for the report, I was able to replicate this issue and will report to the developers.

FYI another method is to merge traces from different graphs is to select Graph>>Overlay Traces, then pick the pick which graphs you want to merge.
