Hi,
I am a 4th year physics student, and due to COVID-19, my labs are being given virtually. This said, one of these uses Multisim to simulate a circuit representing a Duffing oscillator. The problem I am encountering is obtaining Pointcaré sections for my circuit.
To give more context, I have succesfully plotted lissajous figures using the basic oscilloscope. You don't really need to understand what Poincaré are to possibly help me. To obtain the figures I would like, I need to plot a dot every period T (1/frequency) of the voltage.
Let me try to explain using figures.
The first figure shows the signal and we can clearly see its a two frequency cycle. Plotting the Lissajous figure shows this as well. Then, the Poincaré section shows the lissajous figure but sampled every 1/frequency.
I want to know if I can change the sampling frequency of the oscilloscope so that it collect the voltage every 1/frequency (1/1500 in my case).
I have attached my multisim project for you to see.
Thank you in advance for any help,
Philippe Burden
