Hi jkb007,
The MAX1709 model doesn't exist in our database now, which means you have to create your own. However, to create a new component you need its SPICE model which is not available right now. Maybe you can try to find something similar.
If you want to create your own component, you can follow this instruction:

Hi,
IR 2103 can be created with the Component Wizard; the following link is a tutorial on how to create a component.
http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3173/en
When creating a component using the Component Wizard, you will require the spice model, which can usually be found on the manufacturer's website.
You can download the psice model from the following link; open the file IR2103.sub using a text editor and copy and paste the model into the Component Wizard in the corresponding step.

Hi,
If a component is not in the database, you can create your own component using the Component Wizard if you have the spice model. The following link is a tutorial on how to create a component;
http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3173/en
The spice model can usually be found on the manufacturer's website, in this case I was unable to find the spice model on TI's website, if you can get the spice model from the manufacturer all you will need to do is copy and paste that into the component wizard.

I have version 11 of the student edition and I can't seem to find DC/DC buck converter, the LM2574 chip, for a project I am building for my final. If anyone can provide me some assistance or direction on how to get it into my database, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
You can create this component using our Component Wizard. The steps can be found in this tutorial
Creating a Custom Component in NI Multisim.
The spice model is from Texas Instruments, you find the spice model on their website or you can ask them for it.
Hope this helps!

I am missing the chip of DAC0808 and I am using multisim version 10.1.
Do I have to make by myself or can I download it from somewhere?

Hi,
You will have to create it yourself using the Creating a Custom Component in Multisim tutorial.
The spice model can be found on the manufacturer's website (www.ti.com) and if it's not there you can ask the manufacturer for it.
Hope this helps!
