I have been using Multisim 11 in my school, and we are building a RF Mixer and Superheterodyne Receivers.
My question is:
I'm looking for a N-Channel dual-gate MOS-FET (Type ECG222) in our Lab that is what we are using?
In my book we can use a 3N204 or equivalent.
I see in Multisim there is a (BF998, N-Channel dual-gate MOS-FET) I don't know if that is the same as ECG222
If I can build my own I would. But I don't have the Spice Model for the ECG222
Thanks for your time

Hello,
Our models for N-channel d-g mosfets are layout models only. They are coloured green when placing them, meaning that they only have a symbol for Multisim and a footprint for Ultiboard, however, they do not contain any models (SPICE) for simulation. Now unless you are able to find the model for this mosfet (or any other N-channel d-g mosfet, which would work just as fine more than likely) you cannot simulate this component. If you do find a suitable SPICE model, then you can create your own component with the SPICE model for it.
Best regards,
