Hi folks
PLease refer to the two schematics below in the attachment. I am trying to simulate them in Multisim. The circuits are to show the working of AD736 RMS to DC converter chip. The schematic/circuit 2 uses a dual power source one for +5V and another for -5V and the simulation of this works fine and the output gives me the RMS value as expected. But the schematic/circuit 1 fails miserably ends up with convergence errors. Here all i have done compared to the circuit 2 is to replace the individual DC sources with a single battery source and use that for getting both the +5V and the -ve 5V. Am i missing something in circuit 1 ? . Please advice
