Did you mean:

SUU gives subscript out of range when HTTP proxy server entered.

When I enter a proxy server name with 21 characters in the Support and Upgrage Utility, and run it, I get a subscript out of range error.

I get the same error when I enter the IP address of the proxy server.

Is there a solutions or work around?

Hi, can you please reply with the following details:

1. Operating System used.

2. What program are you installing? (Base, Full, Power Pro, Education, etc.)

3. What build version do you have? ( With the software open, select Help >> About ... and check version )

Thanks!

Hi,

I have tried installing on Windows 2000 SP4, and Windows XP Professional SP2 with the same results.

The product is Circuit Design Suite 10.0, Multisim Power Pro Edition, Full Edition license.

The Mulitsim Version is V10.0.144.

Thanks

Hi Greg:

There was an issue with SUU in the 10.0.0 installation (this is also known as 10.0.144). The only way to get around the proxy error is to install the 10.0.1 update. If SUU cannot download and install the update for you because of the proxy issue, you can download the installer from ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/circuitdesignsuite/10.0.1. Select the appropriate distriution: Professional (unlabeled), Educational, or Student.

You can also download from the website http://www.ni.com/multisim/. Look for the link "Download a FREE 30-day evaluation today."  There is no difference, even though it says evaluation.
