There are a few things that are very annoying in schematic generation. First, when connecting power (V+ V-) to power connections on a multisection IC, why leave the power connections visible on the other IC sections with a big X at the ends? Please just BLANK them out/turn them off. They interfere with tight layouts. They look dumb on schematics.
Worse than that is the clunky potentiometer. SEPARATE THE Alpha KEY from the resistor VALUE. The alpha key is an attribute, NOT A VALUE. It's ILLOGICAL. (The same thing could be said for a switch) . I want to see the resistor value but not the alpha key setting and I can't turn off the key to get it out of the way without Losing The Value display. I want the printed schematic to have the resistor value, not some alpha key setting! Next, I can't turn off the PERCENT display no matter what. That is also an attribute that should be able to be blanked so it doesn't print. Regarding percentage of rotation setting, there is no correlation with one end of the resistor. To lay out the schematic legibly, I often have to rotate or flip the pot. The percent scrollbar 0 and 100 don't switch ends when the pot is flipped. The 0 should be associated with one end of the pot always. Actually, the percent scrollbar should be parallel to the pot symbol and not at right angles to it. Who cares if it covers up some of the pot text or the pot itself when it's active and being scrolled? Maybe the pot symbol should be a european rectangle and the scrollbar simply resides inside the rectangle.
This two topics above have bothered me for the last couple years. I don't think turning off the pot value and then adding the value as a label or a separate piece of text is an acceptable solution. Editing a screen capture is unacceptable. Any suggestions?

I completely agree with the author of the message. "X" it would be possible to replace signs on "." and "the scrollbar simply resides inside the rectangle".

Thank you for you feedback, I've created a feature request this issue.

3.5 years later, and no change. Still annoying.

Resurrecting this thread for a purpose
@NI
8 years later and this feature is still not implemented. It is very inconvenient for a professional or student to have to calculate the value of the potentiometer by the percentage it lives at by the user control slider. It should show its set point ohmic value OR give the USER a CHOICE to what they want displayed.
I find it hard to believe that this request is still alive, therefore, I am asking that it be put back on the list and remedied immediately.

Hello guys,
Here is the link to the Ideas exchange site of Multisim. That is the place in which this kind of suggestions should go to be properly monitored.
