I help with Inverness Sea Cadets and we have a model of an harbour entrance. To make the model more lifelike I decided to build a circuit board to cause the lights to flash according to IALA Standards, but decide to build and test using Multisim in the first instance. When doing so I find that some of the 74 series counters instead of dividing by 10 or twelve are only dividing by 8. Is it something that I am doing wrong or is there a problem because I am using version 6 of the software?
