Software Update 11.0.0.1 for NI Circuit Design Suite

The latest software update for NI Circuit Design Suite 11 is now available via NI Update Service. This update (11.0.0.1) is available to all 11.0 users, and contains 17 user-reported defect-fixes for Multisim and Ultiboard. The update is applicable to all editions including Power Pro, Full, Base, Education and Student, and installs on top of a pre-existing 11.0 installation.

The preferred method of installation is via NI Update Service:

1. Close any open sessions of Multisim/Ultiboard
2. Go to Start > All Programs > National Instruments > NI Update Service
3. Select Check for Updates
4. Select the checkbox for NI Circuit Design Suite 11.0.0.1 and click Install

Update service will download the update, and proceed to launch the 11.0.0.1 installer.

Alternatively, if NI Update Service is unavailable, the 11.0.0.1 Update can be manually downloaded from the Drivers and Updates website.

After completing the installation, the Help > About Multisim dialog will display version 11.0.0.1 (11.0.405).

This update fails to install on my computer either thru the updater or manually. The updater downloads the file, it executes briefly, and then says that no changes were made. The Multisim version remains the same.

run as admin, security software disabled, fresh reboot, ni-updater, manual install. I've tired everything I can think of. It will not install. It does not give any indication of why. Just flashes a dialog box stating that nothing is changed.

are there any command line switches for the installer that will make it a bit more verbose?

Same problem for me.  Seems to install but says nothing has changed. Version is not updated.  Finds update again when I check for updates again.

I am installing as administrator.  Windows XP SP3.
