Stopping a 4510 timer

I've created a countdown timer that counts from 4:59 to 0...now the problem i am experiencing is that i cannot find a way to make the timer stop at 00:00 rather it keeps on looping with no end. I’ve tried several methods with no success can anyone help me. I just need to make the timer stop at 00:00 unless the reset is activated. Attached is the ms11 file of my timer. I am using a 4510 bcd counter and 4511 decoder. Any help is greatly appreciated

Hey,

Have you tried using latches to hold the state of your counter? Or maybe create some gate logic to route from your output to your C-switch and make it a voltage controlled switch held in state by a flip-flop?
