Dear all,
I am beginner to pCB design. From you tube tutorial i manage to learn Ultiboard. I have one question here.
I have created user defined footprint & placed in the layout manager . Now i wanted to take print out such that it should match the actual dimension of the component,
when ever i take print the dimenstion is not matching with actual component the ratio varies. can you suggest me how to take print out.
what is setting need to made . i have attached option while i am printing

Hi,
Try setting the Zoom options to 100%
I think your setting is at 200% , isn't it?
succes!

I Have tried each zooming method & give print out. with 140% i am getting approximately but not exact footprint matching the actual component.
I have tried with simple burk stick which uses SIP TH footprint with 2.54 pitch.
Can you tell any other setting need to be change. to get exact print out.
somepeople said in forum in global reference-> PCBdesign-> uncheck the fudicial mark. I also done that,
I have attached the 140% zooming component footprint in PDF format. can you let me know what else i can make changes here

Hi,
Ar you worlking in Metric or Imperial?
You mention that the connector is at 2.54 (mm) but in your screenshot I see that the PCB is in mil...(so imperial)

problem solved.when i directly give print foot print is not matching. But when i make outline place component it shows exact plaqcement with 100%.
I dont know the reason why its doing it. I would expected to check before correct dimenstion
