Trying to incorporate a user defined expression/function for a Resistor

Гуд дэй, коллега!
There is a wonderful component in the program that changes its resistance according to the most incredible laws that our imagination can come up with!

That component seems very interesting, I'll take a look at it tomorrow! It's 12:30am for me right now 😞

hey fofango, is there anyway I can contact the Multisim staff to submit a potential request to look into variable circuit parameters? Because I found that you can do mathematical expressions like what we discussed earlier in the forums for a resistor labeled 'r'. However I noticed a couple of things. I noticed that when trying to add circuit components instead of a constant value such as V(1) and I(R1) the circuit parameters don't read it and it gives a inital  (preview) constant value of 0 which doesn't change at all during the transient simulation. Also when applying a resistance of any mathematical function 'r' as a function of time for example, the current is a constant value based on the inital (preview) value of r to match with the constant voltage in the system and it doesn't apply the changes to the current after the inital resistance thus making the current a constant which doesn't make sense.

Thanks for your time and help,

Elias

Hi!
Post specific examples of your simulations in 'ms' format. So I could understand more clearly
