Is there some way I can update a single shape in the design when I make a change to a particular land pattern in the database? When you use the "Update Shapes" in the "Tools" menu, you lose all of my silkscreen text orientation and positioning information. It's a very tedious process to put it all back the way it was. I understand that if Ultiboard updates a shape, it may not necessarily be able to recognize that the silkscreen text did not change. However, I would like to either update a single shape (part) type in the design, or not have Ultiboard update shapes which have not changed.

This command is used for transformation component Ultiboard V5 in 3D.

I found yesterday that if I use "Replace Part" while I have a particular part selected, I can choose the updated footprint from the database. Ultiboard then asks if you would like to replace all similar parts in the design.
Unfortunately, when you replace the part the silkscreen is still moved. I suppose this makes sense for most cases where you may be changing to a new package with different dimensions. However, if I simply make some pads thinner and wish to update the parts, I am forced to replace all of my silkscreen text.

If you wish to change only Pads, use "In-Place edit" mode.
