V-scoring -- how to in Ultiboard

has anyone figured out how to use a v-scoring tool in Ultiboard in order to pre-panelize boards?

Hi Jackiinj,

Ultiboard doesn't have an option to panelize a board so V-scoring is also not available.  You should contact the PCB manufacturer that will produce the board, they have a Gerber editor which they will use to panel you board and they should be able to add the scoring for you.
