Where can I edit the footprint of a virtual enhancement mode NMOSFET?

Hi everyone,

I am supposed to edit the the threshold voltage and transconductance coefficient of a virtual enhancement mode NMOSFET for my homework in Multisim v10.0.144. In previous questions of hw, i can edit the virtual diode and virtual npn type BJT by "edit footprint" button where i reached by right clicking on component, then going to "properties" and then under "value" tab. However, for virtual MOSFET's, under the "value" tab there is no button about footprint. Where i can reach the footprint edition of a virtual enhancement mode NMOSFET?

For any help, thank you..

Hi,

In the current Multisim version, the "Edit Model" should be available but in an older version you may not see this option.  In this case you have to export the component model and build your own custom component.  Place a MOS on the work area and then select Transfer>>Export Netlist, Multisim creates a .cir file that can be open with Notepad and the SPICE model is in there.  Copy the model and create your own component.

Here are a couple of link that you may to look at:
