Why can't use most of the functions in Multisim Student Demo

Hi,

I've been using Multisim 9 demo version for my project and now demo period is overed. I didn't know it has limited days to use.

Now I'm in the middle of my project and trying to use Student version Demo again.

But with this version, I couldn't access "Components" and most of the functions. I could only open the samples and simulate them.

Why couldn't I create my own circuit with this Demo version?

Please help me on this since my project deadline is just around the corner. 😞

The demo version is a combination of freeware/trial, the freeware portion is the schematic capture, the trial portion is the simulation, its explained on the website where you downloaded it.

If you are now using a Student Version (not demo), and your components are grayed out... go to:

C:\Program Files\Electronics Workbench\EWB9\Multisim Users, and delete your ".ewcfg" file. Then launch Multisim and see if that helped. Obviously... make a backup of the file.
