activation

I am trying to activate multisim v12 and after entering the activation code a pop up windows states that the activation code does not correspond to the product that I am activating. I recieved one serial number and one activation code together and they don't work, after calling ni support she said that she could not give me another activation code and that I would have to figure it out on the forum. What terrible customer support, makes me want to get my money back. Can someone help me get this activated or did I waste my money.

Can you please open Multisim and go to Help >> About Multisim and post a screen shot of that window.

I can not open multisim without activating it.

Please go to Start >> All Programs >> National Instruments >> NI License Manager. Click the plus sign next to Multisim 12.0 to expand it and send a screen shot of this window. My guess is that you have the wrong version installed but I just want to confirm that.

Hello,

From the screenshot I can see that you installed the Professional Edition ofr Multisim. With this installer and, depending on your Serial Number, you can activate Multisim Base, Full and Power Pro Edition version 12.01.

The next step is to verify your Serial Number, did you buy any of these editions? If you are not sure send me a private message and include your Serial Number for verification.
