Hello,
I'm an abolute beginner in Multisim. I want to simulate an DC -voltage equivalent from a phase difference of two AC signals.
I've done two simulations:
1. Four Quadrat Multplier
2. RMS
And validate them - works good.
When i combine the two circuits - the output W from the AD633JN with the input 4 VIN of the AD636JH the output 8 BUFOUT is not the expected RMS of the input - it is always equal 0.
Please help me.

Hello NOPP,
i think the current which is delivered by the AD633JN is to low.
You have to place a driver or a comperator between the
two circuits.
I tryed this with a comperator with 10k resistors and a gain of
-1 and it works better. So if you fit a comperator to the internal
resistance of the IC's, use driver IC or may a optocoupler it will works fine.
I hope this helps you further.
Best regards

Hello LoCa,
Thank you for answering.
I try it but it doesn't work. Please upload your combined circuit, so it is easier for me to figure out wich mistakes I make.
Yours faithfully

Hello Martin,
my solution is not the best way. I think the problem depends on the first IC
because it's delivers too less current for the second IC.
What do you think?
