dissecting a 74160n and 7447n

as a project i have to break down a 74160n counter and a 7447n decoder into the actual logic diagram. i have the counter broken down and working when connected to the 7447n ic and i have the 7447n broken down according to the data sheet i have but its not working.

i dont expect a direct "heres the answer" response but if i can get some help pushing me in the right direction it would be much apprieciated.

also, sorry for the colored wires but it was to help me check the wiring faster.

Hi,

I'd recommend you design the 7447n as a subcircuit and connect it using HB/SC connectors to have a cleaner view of your connections. Also try to use the probes to monitor the values of the V/I of your nodes at every stage of your circuit. This will tell you how it's working and maybe what to troubleshoot.
