What Multisim version are you installing?

What's you OS?

When you're going through the installation you will see something like step 1 of 24, where did it failed at? 

Disable you virus protection software and see if this makes a different.

Ver. 10.1 Windows vista 32 bit. I had the eval version on the computer but removed it using ad remove in control panel now i can't reinstall it

This type of error is really difficult to figure out because we cannot replicate this problem.  Since you have Multisim successfully installed before, can you restore you system to a previous date.
