fpga multisim

Hi, Can multisim be used to simulate cpld or fpga. If it can , how to do it? Thanks, Lu

Hi Lu,

Essentially Multisim can simulate anything with a SPICE model (with the exception of the MCU programming module) therefore if you know the function of the FPGA chip and produce a SPICE model for this then this is possible.  However if you were hoping it could be used so you could put it in your circuit and try different personalities on this then I do not believe this will be possible.
