help with multisim 12

Solved!

Hello everyone,

I am currently studying electrical engineering at college and I am used to using multisim 2001 from college but im doing work from home and downloaded the free 30 day trial to get this work done.

So anyway, I am building a digital and analogue thermometer and doing some work regarding the testing of the circuit. In my circuit i need a reset button in it and i cant seem to find one?

I am looking for a SP ST N/O double breaker switch; the only ones i can find are ones that are pressed and they stay closed. I need one were it reopens after closing? any ideas?

Thanks in advance 🙂

If I understand what you are asking for:
You are looking for a button that you click and then when you release the mouse it pops back

Then you won't find one in multisim, from my experience every button in multisim need to be pushed twice to go back.

I think that it's for simulations purposes, like:
if you have a circuit where you need to push two or more pushbuttons, then it would be complicated to do it if they popped back when you released the mouse.

So if I'm not misunderstanding you question: Use any button that suits you circuit, but keep in mind that in the simulation you have to click it twice 🙂
