modeling a capacitance type sensor in mutlisim

I would like to know how to model a capcitive sensor in multisim. For instance I would like to charge a capacitive sensor to a certain voltage and then instantaneously change the value of the capacitive sensor and see the change in charge. From what I can tell a parameter sweep won't do this since it will run the analysis consecutivly with different values and not change the value in the same analysis.

Have you tried the variable capacitor in the database? You can set intial initial conditions and then alter the capacitance with the slider or keyboard. I don't know if this will work the way you want, but it might be worth a look see.
